I've got hold of an early engineering sample of the Xbox 360 portable, see it in action. (This isn't real)

does anyone know if the portbale xbox thing is real click on the link if it is real can you please tell me where to get i am going to travel and see family and there are a bunch of 5 hour plane rides and would like to bring my xbox to keep me occupied also does it run on betteries and how much should it cost?

Is xbox gonna make a Portable Console in 2007?

It's still unclear if there's even going to be a XBX portable. MS hasn't confirmed it, and they also haven't denied it. I think it's exploring the possibility of making a handheld system, but it's going to be a tough battle for MS because the DS is pretty much unbeatable, and the PSP is gaining strength thanks to the ability to play PSX games.

Assuming that MS does make a handheld, it's probably going to be around 2008 or 2009 before we see an XBX handheld. It'll take 1 or 2 years to plan it out and about half a year for production.

My Xbox 360 I bought in 2007 recently got the Red Ring of Death among other problems, and I am considering buying a new console to replace it. However, I've heard that the older hard drives are not compatible with newer consoles, and my 12 gig hard drive does not work with my friend's 360. Is this true for all the newer consoles, and if so, how else can I transfer my data? Do portable memory units work, or will that raise complications?

all the xbox 360 hard drives work with all of the xbox 360s, my brother runs a game-stop and a lot of people have this confusion, I works don't worry.
