ok, i know there is a hacked firmware to download and install into your xbox driveto make you lay burned meda (such s games). But what is a modchip and wat does it do. AND.....

you can play online if the game you download is stealth patched but its illegal dude i would not recommend you do this even though the games are over priced and xbox live is not free and it gets the red rings of death but they expect you to buy another system and keep paying for xbox live but they will bann you if you make back up copies of your games what a world

I'm trying to mod my origional xbox. I allready have the modchip.
This Not a 360 it is a orgional!. I have everything I'll need execept the software which is not made by microsoft!

installing a modchip only allows you to play COPIED xbox games, there is no mod software.

I wouldn't do it though.

If you play Xbox Live, then, when you log onto Xbox Live with your modded Xbox, the servers will compare your original Xbox configuration and if it sees the modchip, you will be BANNED from Xbox Live.

I have a xbox that i want to sell. i was wondering that if i soft mod my xbox can i still sell it LEGALLY on ebay or at ebgames.

Well you made the console itself illegal by putting a softmod on it so no matter where or how you sell it, it is illegal. EB games will check it first and see that it is modded and will not take it (and might even take legal action...I dont know what their policies are) and selling it over E-bay you are more likely to get busted for it as it is out for all to see

Can anyone help?

its really easy. just go on yahoo, google, etc. and search for xbox 360 controller mods. there should be many search results. i don't know if these websites have it or not, but two websites that i've been to, totalconsole and xcm, might have it. however, i don't plan on modding hardware or anything by adding rapid fire to it, i'm just gonna change the casing and put led lights under the buttons.

(p.s. if you are gonna use rapid fire, use it only on singleplayer games or if you are playing with friends on the same xbox. do not use it on xbox live, or you may get reported by many people and your account will get screwed up)
