Whats the difference between the xbox live 12 month subscription and the xbox live 12 month gold card for 360?

On gamestop.com, there are two different xbox live cards. one is a xbox live 12 month subscription, and the other is a xbox live gold card 12 month. what is the difference

They should be the same.. the only Xbox Live that you have to pay for is Xbox Live Gold..

It could be that one of the cards they have listed is Xbox Live for the original Xbox..

Good luck..

what happened after xbox live 12 month subscription code expire?

I bought a starter kit for xbox and have 12 month free subscription code. I bought it ten months ago and right now i'm sick of xbox live, i rather play online on computer. What will happen to my account? will it renew itself? will it take money from my credit card to renew the account? what will happen?

If you've registered a credit card, the next months subscription will usually be taken off automatically, unless you have requested otherwise when you set up your account. If you don't want Live anymore you need to call 1800 4 my x box.. or 18004699269.. They will ask you a few questions before they cancel it but after the questions they will.

Should i get the Xbox Live 12 Month start kit ?

I want to get Xbox Live because ive used all my trials, should i get a 12 month starter kit so i get a headset, Xbox live arcade game and 200 microsoft points ? My only other option is probably 1 month credit card subscription.
I think ill be interested for a year

I say get the starter kit since you're interested in playing online for a while. Also if you don't already have a headset the starter kit is essential, especially since the headset separate is around $20 and 200 MS points translates to about $5 and the game about $10.

The best way to decide whether or not to get the starter kit or just the 12 month (many of the 12 month cards come with an addt'l month free) card is the 12 month cost $50, if the starter kit is under $70 (the game is probably crappy or old by now anyway) go for it, if not just get the 12 month card and buy the headset separate.

Can I use 2 12 month xbox live subscriptions at the same time ?

I have 2 xbox live 12 month codes can I use them both at the same time to get 2 years xbox live because then I dont have to worry about loosing one of the codes

Yes you can. I've done it before after receiving two prepaid cards from relatives who didn't know I already had Xbox Live. In fact I just used a prepaid card two days ago that was sent to me from microsoft after my Xbox was fixed. It just adds the time onto your subscription.

Does the Xbox live 12 month gold membership ever expire?

I'm thinking about purchasing the Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Subscription CARD. I know it starts to expire 12 months after activation. But my question is...."if i dont activate it will it ever expire?" I found a great deal on the card but dont want to start using it until i can find the game i want. Thanks!

I hope not cuz i have like 4 i havent put in yet lol

  • Buy Cheap

  • That VideoGame Blog ยป Xbox Live will be $100 per year, Pachter ...

I don’t think that’ll happen. They’d have to have like 90% of of the market to even think of pulling something like this off. Even with $50 a year, LIVE is the better choice for now. But PSN is catching up and doing things better. I don’t think they’ll ever reach a point where they’d be better than LIVE but I do think some people will choose a somewhat lesser service in order to save that $100.

They will lose me as a customer if the raise the price even a penny. It is overpriced as it is and when SONY and NINTENDO get there act together and make there online service as good then MS will have to make it free as well. This isn’t the first time analysts like Michael Pachter have been WAY off the mark and I am quite certain he is here as well.
