Xbox Game System

We have an old xbox game system. I need info. on how to clean it so that it will run correctly. Thank you.

Purchase a lens cleaner. The Xbox may be faulty though if it's a Thompson hard drive, which are the worst ones. They can be replaced or repaired though.

I've had friends tell me about the game but dont have a game system how do i play without one......

Just google it or look for Utube videos of people playing it. But you can't play it w/out a system.

I've never heard of Gamecrazy but I highly recommend you do NOT sell your games and system at Gamestop. They are very greedy and will not give you crap for your games or system. Here's what I'm going to assume Gamestop will give you:

Xbox System: $40.00
Need For Speed: $4.00
Dead or Alive 3: $3.50
Madden 06: $3.00
Madden 02: $2.00
Fuzion Frenzy: $1.00
NBA Live 2004: $2.00
NBA LIve 2002: $1.00

It's pathetic, one dollar for a game you paid 50 bucks for five years ago, but that is the reality of gamestop's system. For new games that are less than two monthes old, they cut the price in half to buy it used ($60.00 game is worth $30.00). For anything older than two monthes, it get's knocked down to $20-25 dollars, then for every year old it is they knock off $10.00. So a game like COD 4 which came out a year ago is only worth about $10-15 bucks. Sometimes they are "generous" and will give you $6.00 for a two year old game.
They actually do go below a dollar sometimes, and somehow you end up paying them for a re-stocking fee sometimes, so you actually lose money selling your games.

A year or two ago, I sold about 30 old Xbox games and got around $34.00, no joke. If you want to make money off of your old games, either go to one of them trading sites for gamers or sell your stuff on eBay. Or better yet, how about you just keep it all in the closet and play it again in 20 years when we are playing the Xbox 3000 :) ? You never know, classic game stuff goes for alot of money these days.

Does anyone have an opinion on what the best gaming system is---Wii, Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?

I want to get a game system for some mindless entertainment and I don't know which one to get. Everyone I ask has a different favorite.

And, what's the best place to buy it (best deal)?

Well, i hav all three (lol) and i suggest getting a xbox 360. If u usually hav a lot of friends over then the wii is a blast but if ur alone most of the time then it could be sitting and collecting dust for most of the day. The PS3 is fun but i cant rlly seem to gt into the games if u no wat i mean. But if u dont hav xbox live or a lot of friends over than u should gt the ps3 but if u hook up xbox live, the xbox beats them all and its not that expensive just $5 a month

on top of that the xbox w/o the hardrive is selling for only $200 which is the cheapest of the three while the ps3 is 400 and the wii is 300
