Xbox 360 Wifi Adapter

i spent 100 bucks on it and now i need one for my new dell inspiron, would the xbox 360 wifi adapter work??

if you use the official microsoft xbox 360 wireless network adapter, then no, you cannot use it on a regular computer. the 360 adapter wont work on a computer for the same reason a regular usb adapter wont work on the xbox. they just arent compatible. however if you use a regular usb wireless game adapter or an ethernet to wireless bridge, then yes, you can use the adapter with your computer and xbox.

Personally, I don't like rockband, GH ftw. The wireless is adaptor is good for one reason; you can use your xbox at different houses

I don't think it will work on a PC. If you can test it its a good idea. My motto of these situations is you don't know what it does until you try it.

Well 100 US dollars (the price of a wifi adapter) converts to around 8064 rupees. I am not sure how accurate that convertion is but it's my best estimate.

This one will work, as it doesn't connect to the USB port.
Basically it's a wireless bridge, that takes any Ethernet cable (even from your PC) and transforms it to a wireless signal. But there are cheaper alternatives.
