Xbox 360 Laptop

Here's the situation: My xbox 360 & laptop (windows xp) are connected w/ an ethernet cable. Both are turned off. How do i get internet on the 360 through laptop.

Best connect the xbox 360 directly to internet. it is the best and the simplest one.

I have:

Xbox 360
Laptop
Ethernet cable
Crossover cable
and no wireless xbox 360 adapter

and i want to learn how to bridge connections correctly so it will work, because i cant seem to get it to work.

i did this. just connect x box to cpu. go to connections and high lite the hardwire connection and your wireless connection then right click and hit bridge connections. thats it once it bridges u r good to go. hope it works for u.

I know this can be done.

Things I have;
Ethernet Cable
XBOX 360
Laptop
Modem

So how do I set it up.

You need to connect the ethernet cable to the latop, also you will have to make sure to disable any firewalls that make cause the xbox contacting the pc to fail.
The next step is the tricky one, in order for the xbox to be able to contact the pc some UDP ports and some CTP ports will need to be open, in order ot know which ones, and how to do it you will need to contact 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and let them know you want to connect to xboxlive using a shared network connection
A note onto this is that this method normally it doesnt give you good speeds on xbox live, and it only work 1/20 times.

Can someone please give me simple step-by-step instructions to be able to hook up my XBOX 360 to my laptop that is receiving internet from another computer's wireless router? Please! I am wanting to download a patch for my WWE SVR 2009 to be able to get attributes for all of my CAW's by completing Career Mode just once. I heard there is now a patch for that, can someone please help!!

I have an HP pavillion HDX 9300 and I am trying to use the monitor to play an xbox 360. My laptop has an HDMI port, we bought the HDMI cable and so it should work...I think. So far its not working. Any suggestions? Can it even be done? Thanks!

99% of the laptop has out only HDMI and VGA ports. and ur laptop has output only ports so u cant use it as monitor. there is no way u can use it as monitor.

U may use TV tuner card and connect the xbox 360 to it but the quality of the video will decrease. So dont use it.
