Xbox 360 Guitar

I am currently in temporary possession of an Xbox 360 guitar controller but I have a PS3. The Xbox guitar has a USB plug so it'll fit into the PS3, but the PS3 doesn't read it. It detects it as an unknown USB device. Is there something I can do to make the Xbox 360 guitar compatible with the PS3? Like some settings or something?

I would like to use my XBOX 360 guitar to play a guitar hero emulator on my computer but it will only let me use a PS2 guitar but I do not have an adapter to connect one to the USB port. Does anyone know how I can use the XBOX guitar for these emulators?

No i dont think it will but it might so i'd try it.

i have a x box 360 rock band guitar ....its wired with a usb connection on the end. .
i have rock band for ps3 and i want to use my xbox 360 guitar on my ps3 .... when i plug it in nuthing happens though....please help.

It's not going to work, each controller set for each console has different inputs, connection type, etc, and won't cross over to another console

heyy guys i downloaded guitar zero and im trying to change the setting for my guitar hero 2 controller for xbox 360 can work on it. all the other buttons work except the strum bar. and the strum bar isnt broken so please help.

its guitar "Hero"

and if the guitar is not broken its probably because it's a download. but make sure it's not the guitar so use a different guitar to see if it works with it. if it's not compatible with the downloaded disk then it wont work
