I plug my Rock Band guitar controller itno my Xbox 360, and put in Guitar Hero III but when I try to play a song it just doesn't work. So I was wondering if you can even play Guitar Hero III with a Rock Band guitar controller because you can do it the other way around. Is this true?
Not possible. Not compatible.
The GH guitars only work on rockband and not vice versa.

and that guy used the rockband controller to tap the intro to: Through the Fire and Flames. And that song is on guitar hero III. So i became curious if i could use the rockband guitar for my xbox 360 with guitar hero III. And if i can, is it worth using it, or is the original guitar better?
No you cant use rock band controller on guitar hero but u can use guitar hero for rockband...

if you are going to get guitar hero III, go with the xbox 360 version. The wii version is kind of water downed, and you can't download more songs. but if you only have the Wii, it's still a good game.
