Xbox 360 Go Pro

Am I correct in my assumption that an (correct me if I am saying/writing this wrong) Xbox 360 pro will play all my old regular Xbox games?
Or will an arcade version do the same?

It will play most of your original Xbox games.. See link below for the compatibility list..

For backwards compatibility you need a hard drive.. the Xbox 360 Arcade does not come with one (just a 256MB memory unit).. if you added a hard drive to the Xbox 360 Arcade it will be able to play original Xbox games the same as the Xbox 360 Premium..

I want one of these, but they're a bit expensive. i would be willing to wait until after christmas, but will the prices go down? if they will how much do you think?

I highly doubt that the prices will go down since they cut the prices in September. But you never know, if they do with the Pro and Elite I think maybe $25-50 bucks.

you have to take the 20gb off and put the 60 or 120gb on which ever one you buy

My xbox 360 pro broke and i want to get an arcade because it is cheaper. Can I take the hard drive from the pro and place it on an arcade so I ca still have my old memory?

Yes you can! The same exact happened to my Xbox 360. I went out and bought an arcade, popped in my HD and I was up and running again!

However...if you have DLC that's licensed to your old 360, you will have to re-license it and then redownload it. What I mean is...for example if you have Rockband and you downloaded songs, it will only work with whatever xbox you downloaded from. In order to get it to work on your new one, you'll have to re-license it and then redownload it.

Because it starts off at 300 dollars and i wanna get 1 but they said it goes up to $320 dollars so what do y'all think.

Were are you buying it from? If you are buying it online, it is most likely due to shipping and handling and you still have to pay tax. I would recommend buying it at Walmart because with that $20 you would be paying for shipping, you can add a warranty and eventually (when your warranty is about to expire) take it in and get a new one.
