showing some really good flight sims on xbox live

Hey. I have a controller that came with my xbox 360 and I want to use it with FLight Simulator X for pc. Is there a way to do this?? It is NOT the PC version of the controller. But my dell laptop did recognize it and install it. but I dont know how to not use the mouse with flight simulator x. thanks.

I have had the same problem with games on my PC and it won't let you use the 360 controller because the game does not support it. Usually if you can use a system paddle with a PC game it will be indicated in the instruction manual.

Both xbox 360 and flight simulator x are made by microsoft so i think a connection might be made. But flight simulator x on pc uses 13gigs approximatly so either you would have to eat up your xbox 360 hard drive or some sort of super compression would have to be used or the game would have to be put on hd-dvd (another microsoft technology) to hold the massive amount of storage needed but all i know is i dont want to have to buy a top of the line computer and video card to play flight simulator x at full graphics so if anyone knows anything please answer this.

Microsoft might be able to transfer the game to an HD-DVD and play it on the Xbox360. That game is SO awesome. Thatd be so cool if it came to the Xbox360 (i haveone)

Looking for best jet fighter (modern) simulator on the 360. I've been told HAWX, but I played the demo and didn't like it. Too unrealistic and I don't like the 3rd person no assistance view. Also been told Ace Combat 6 which looks decent. Any other suggestions please?

I would get Ace Combat 6, it is the best simulator that I've ever played. I tried HAWX, and liked it for a bit until I thought I would give Ace combat 6 a try and I loved it. The graphics are amazing and it follows a very good storyline as well. There are some planes available for download on the LIVE marketplace too. When I first got it I was amazed at how easy it is to just start playing, there are some tutorials in the game too, and I would do those first just to get a better feel for the controls. You can also land on an Aircraft Carrier if you cross a certain line at the end of the airspace to return for ammo (Missiles, SP weapon, Gun).

All in all, I would most definitely get Ace Combat 6.

PS: Look in the used games section at some stores and you can find it for arounD $30 in the used section at EB Games or GameStop. Just make sure you get the game gaurentee.

i have a xbox 360 console with 2 controllers....... one is wireless and the other is with a wire and a usb plug in....... can i plug it into my laptop and use it as a controller to play flight simulator x???????????pls help me.....

you can download a free trial of software that lets you configure any controller to do what you want (in reference to a keyboard)

Seeing as Microsoft Flight Simulator X is a Microsoft creation, it might actually already have a set up for an xbox controller (though i doubt it), your best bet is for looking for help on the pinnacle forums with setting up your controller with the game.
