Xbox 360 Fall Update

Hey when does the xbox 360 fall update come out? the homscreen has said 1 week! since last saturday sunday or friday. can't rememebr lol. anybody know?

Release 12/04/2007, the Xbox 360 received it's Fall Update with a slew of new features, what are your thoughts on the new changes?

Well, personally, I think the Personal Profile helped me a lot because my friend would never tell me his friend's name. Now, I can. Ownage. The Xbox Originals games are sick, now I can download and play Halo! (I don't have Halo 1). Good job, Microsoft- Xbox Team.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows when the XBOX 360 fall update it. I read about it in the latest OXM and it sounds amazing. There will be avatars, a totally new dashboard and some other things.

Wikipedia said November but it just changed back to Fall 2008 so I guess It will happen in fall 2008

I believe semptember or october. And it is no longer rumored, it will be happened. With supposed features such as: Free Netflix for Gold Subscribers, installing of your xbox games, multi-game chat, and a new menu.

hey. so i have a 256 mg memory card right now, but im planning on getting a 20 gb hard drive for my b-day on november 30. will about 210 mg be enough for the new fall xbox 360 update? and once i get the hard drive, will i be able to transfer the update from my memory card to my hard drive? if so how? and last, i dont have xbox live, so will i be able to burn a cd with the update from my computer and use that to get the update? if so, how? and about how long will the update be available for download? thanks.

You'll need at least 128 MB in order to get the update on your XBOX.

Actually, any game that is released on November 19th will have the dashboard update built in (I got the last one when I bought MLB 2K8), your first opportunity will be The Last Remnant which is released on the 20th, otherwise you'll have to wait until Next Monday for another release.
