Xbox 360 Charger

I bought a charger cord to plug in my controller to my pc, and the target salesman said it can work on your pc with the cord. How do I get this to work? Someone please help I tried about everything. How can I get it to work with the charger cord connected to the controller on the pc.

The salesman didn't know anything, and was just trying to make a sale. The only thing that goes over the Play and Charge cord is power. It charges the controller, but the controller still uses wireless to connect to the X360 or PC. You have to get a Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows to play with a wireless controller on PC. There really is no other option.

I have 2 wireless Xbox 360 black controlers at my house and I am spending so much time and money on AA batteries. Which charger would you reccomend to solve my problem?

The Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, it comes with a reachargeable battery pack and a cable to charge it. The cable can be connected to make your controller wired without the rechargeable battery pack installed. You can also charge while you play. i tried to charge my duracell and energizers( there not the rechargeable ones) and they wont charge, even though there not rechargeable shouldnt they charge still.

Nope. Chances are they will leak and ruin your charger. Just buy the batteries you need. You can try freezing the batteries for like thirty minutes or warming them up for like a minute. NOT IN THE MICROWAVE! LOL Like grab a warm towel and wrap them around the batteries.

right so i bought a xbox 360 wireless controller (preowned)
its in perfect condition. when i first got it i thought it was a batter operated controller but when i looked it has a rechargeable pack but i didnt get the lead with the controller
every lead ive seen is carries a additional rechargeable pack is it possible to get just the lead?

i put in the pack it came with, it charges and turns red on the bulb.
but i just put in newly bought rechargeable energizers but the bulb doesnt turn red. is it charging.

You have to use xbox battery packs not real batteries.

You can buy other xbox battery packs to use and charge. Or you can use the original pack that the controler came with to use regular AAs but they will not recharge while in the controler.
