Xbox 360 Case

I'm getting an xbox 360 60Gb premium. But i want to get a different case cause i wanted an elite but it was too expensive and i wnat to have the same effect. Any help is awesome.

They have lots of Hdmi cases, most custom xbox 360 cases are still made for the xbox 360's that didn't have Hdmi output.

This website is also go as they have certain cases extreme-mods don't have, be careful and read the descriptions to make sure that the case you are buying can be used on newer hdmi out consoles.

Anyone ever used their broken xbox 360 as a desktop pc? got any tips? did you use a laptop layout or a desktop pc layout? I know someone's already done it but they don't give any details on how to do it! I want to be able to re-use the case and this is the best idea i can come up with.

Any ideas welcome

im pretty sure a micro ATX motherboard would fit.

I would like to know if there is a way to airbrush an xbox 360 case without taking it off the console separately. can you just get your airbrush and spray it a straight colour like black without sanding it or anything?

I would love to spray paint my console a different color. Airbrushing would be nice too, but I haven't got one :(

Anyway you could probably do it without having to take the case off, however you may have to sand it just a bit. You could use a very fine grit size, so you don't dmage it. And then use a glossy covering if you wish.

If you haven't noticed there are tons of holes in the xbox that are just about everywhere.
The sides have a big area where there aren't any holes that could be airbrushed, but I would use painters tape to cover it up. Then you can paint over the holes by hand.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!
Make sure that you never are painting down toward your xbox. You need to have a friend hold up your xbox, you can get under it, and then paint. That way if there is any excess paint it will drip down to the floor (put down newspapers!) instead of inside into the motherboard. There is no real cover, that protects the motherboard. If anything goes through the hole, the case is pretty much it. So if your painting through any holes be sure that if there is excess it will run out, not into the xbox.

If your xbox is older than 3 years I would say crack open the case and paint each piece separately. You can buy an xbox 360 opening tool for 6.99 http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/product _info.php?cPath=73_83&products_id=74 0

this will let you open your case and safely paint your 360.

Again if your still under warrenty don't do it that way..

If you paint your xbox black, and it breaks, you will have to repaint it white, and it must be with plastic paint and look authentic which could be difficult to pull off. If you bought this from Best Buy see if you can buy the bestbuy extended warrenty.

This warrenty covers the xbox 360 even if you've opened the case!

My friend bought a case mod, took off his case and put on the mod. Then he got the RROD so he put the original case back on, borught it back to bestbuy and did an exchange they didn't care or notice the sticker was broken.

So if you have that option great.. if not it's gonna be a bit risky.

I get a xbox 360 game case and tape it shut and sell a new released game for $20. Would this work how are good people to sell to?
