Xbox 3 Red Rings

I want to make my Xbox 360 Elite have 3 red rings, due to it's warranty is up and the only way to renew it is have it sent in with 3 red rings. (The warranty is already up unless it has 3 red rings, and I can't renew it because you have to renew it before it's up.. when I send it in, it will be renewed.)

Leave it on for 48 hours, make sure it's on top of the carpet and put some blankets over it.

i want to buy and xbox 360 with red rings of death from the internet, but i only want it if it has 3 red lights. any websites i can buy it from besides craigslist?

please help, my xbox turned off and i got the 3 red rings, i tried to turn it on, no luck, unplugged the power cable and re plugged it, works fine now, its it screwed? will it break soon?

I just bought a new xbox 360 elite, it works fine and everything but randomly sometimes whenever i go to start it up after not playing for a day or two, it has three red rings, i disconnect the power plug going to the back of it and re-connect it and it starts up fine. Is there something wrong with my brick?

You don't want a console that's going to be faulty especially as you just got it.

So i bought my new xbox 360 in 2007 around christmas time . Now recently i have been getting the 3 red rings of death thing right and my question is if i call up microsoft and tell them all of that will they replace or fix it for free.

Sometimes they'll replace, sometimes fix. I've had two fixes and on replacement in the three years I've had mine.

They'll tell you either way.
