I recently bought a 360 and made a defult profile. I didnt port my Xbox live profile because it wasnt activated at the time so every time i sign in I have to sign in manually to my live profile (which i ported a little while ago) now i remember how to change the default profile on the old xbox 360 interface does anyone know how to do it on the new one?

It's basically the same way. Sign into the profile you want to be the default one. Open the guide button and go to the right to Profile. Select that and go down to auto sign-in. Make sure that's enabled and it will tell you you have to sign out for it to take effect. Make sure auto sign-in is disabled on all other accounts or else they will conflict and none will sign in automatically.

i mean as in what do u get extra wiv the elite in the box. All ive found so far is that it comes wiv a cable extra for HD. is that all?

Hey guys. I know the Jasper is known to have less heat etc but has there ever a case wherein a Jasper 360 developed 3RL? Because all I read about is that "its might lessen the likelihood of 3RL" but is it THE cure for the problem?

The simple answer is: it's too early to tell.

Jasper's have only been out for 8-10 months, and there are still systems floating around with the older Falcons. It will take a bit more time before we can tell just how reliable the Jaspers are, but the fact that we haven't yet heard of Jasper failures is already an indication that, if nothing else, they are at least more reliable then previous versions of 360 motherboards.

In fact, considering the hardware changes and upgrades for Jasper, I can't imagine how Jasper won't be the most reliable version yet. It's just a question of how reliable it will be.

I heard that 1080i has flicker due to interlacing, and that most xbox 360 games are not developed to display a 1080p picture, rather 720p. Although 1080p has high res. which should i go for?

It depends on what the resolution on your TV is.

I use 1080p on my 1080p TV and have never noticed any flickering.

well i'll tell you an XBOX360 will blow ps2 out of the water and of the face of the earth, not to mention sonys reputation is all they have going for them. XBOX360 premium has a media remote to watch DVDs, a headset and one month subscription to XBOX live gold and comes with a silver subscriptionalready in the hard drive(20 gb) wireless controller; beautiful you can turn off/on the console with the remote or the controller, play mp3s media disks, picture disks and if you want to put grannys face on your dashboard you can....plus the real heart and soul of the 360 is the graphics processors OMG!!!!beautiful graphic and in 5.1 dolby dts dont worry if you dont have a HDTV or a 5.1 home theater you can still enjoy everything in all its beauty. trust me i have one and i love it!
