I was wondering if i should buy Unreal Tournament 3 For Xbox 360 for Christmas. Is it still worth Buying For christmas?
No. I just rented it from Gamefly, and its boring! It sucks compared to what I remember about the original. If I were you, I would rent it for a few nights, and return it. That's all the gameplay you'll want out of it.

Alright, I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
I want to get Unreal Tournament, but a can't decide between getting it for the PC or the Xbox 360.
Until the 22nd, I could get Unreal Tournament 3 Black (I dunno if that's a special version or something) for 11 dollars on the PC, but I could find it for 20 dollars for the Xbox.
While the PC has user created content and other bonus content, the Xbox 360 has multiplayer, and I don't have many multiplayer games for when my friends come over. Really, all I have is Halo 3.
What should I get, because I already got Left 4 Dead for the PC, and I did that for the same reasons I would get Unreal Tournament for the PC.
Which platform should I get the game on?
Definitely PC. Everything about it is better. Patches, DLC, changeable options. Unless you don't have a high end PC, in that case I would just buy it for the 360.

I recently rented Unreal Tournament 3 for the Xbox 360 and it worked fine but today whenever I put it in the xbox and close the tray it makes a loud buzzing/humming sound. I've tried Pure, Battlefield Bad Company, Left 4 Dead and Dark Messiah but none make the same noise. The disk isn't damaged in any way either. Any ideas whats causing it to make the noise for one game?
try repositioning the laser reader within the xbox worked for my playstation 2 but hasnt happened to my ps3 yet thank god.

Its a mod that lets you do it and yes it is available for xbox 360.
I was curious if you could disable the blood (splats, gibs, etc.), in the xbox 360 version of the game, like you can in the PC version via the options menu and selecting "reduced gore"?
why? why dont you play how the game was made? if you think its to mature for the blood do you even think u should be buying M rated games?

Unreal Tournament III « xBox Gameplay
UT3 is probably the fastest FPS on the consoles at this time. With lightning fast gameplay and stunning visuals. I only noticed very minor texture pop ins and the occasional framerate dips but really I’m being nitpicky here, UT3 looks and plays fantastic, near perfection for it’s style of gameplay and probably the best looking,best performing game currently on the 360 to date.
With the addition of 5 New Maps for the 360 version, 3 of which are wholly new and 2 are reinvisioned versions of the PS3/PC version with Necris themes. All of the maps look quite good and some are fantastic looking.
I’ve noticed that they improved the 360’s version , by tweaking the core controls with a ‘minor’ aim assist , I noticed that the bullets track a little better and behave more realisticly. I don’t prefer aim assist myself ,BUT , I will say the 360 version is the most refined version yet ,aside from the HUGE GAP ,of not supporting user created mods, it is the most polished port.
