No. It was only made for the GC and then later for the PS2.

ive beaten both resident evil 4 and 5 (havnt beaten the old ones) and i think they should my resivent evil 4 on xbox 360 and on ps3.resident evil 4 was longer and funner and they should add coop to it like resident evil 5. resident evil 4 was the scariest game i played intil i played fear 2 (i play fear during day time)

I've heard that rumor and have seen the "box art" for it and I am really excited about the possibility of it being true.

I think the box art you may of seen was fake.
There has been no news on gaming sites like IGN saying a remake will be made. Though, a demo of Resident Evil 5 is due to release on the 5th of December on the Xbox market, so not all is bad.
