Left 4 Dead- My friends said to get it so we could play co-op.
Resident Evil 5- New to the series but the people say it's good.
I have Xbox Live and I want the game that is fun to play and more people play online.
Please Give good reasons and don't recommend other games..Thanks!
I would recommend Left 4 Dead if you wanted to play co-op with your friends as well as with other people. I have not played L4D lately because my internet has been a little slow, but when I play there is usually a good amount of people on, and if you have friends to play, it's even better.
Per Xbox and game, you can only play with 2 people. But you could always hook up Xboxes to play with more than 2 players if you wanted to play offline. Online, you can play with up to 4 players in the Campaign mode and up to 8 for Versus mode. I think Versus mode is one of the best aspects of L4D along with the co-op capabilities.
You don't have to be at expert level to play Online either. As long as you have good teamwork. That's the key for L4D.
I have not played RE5, but I have played the demo and I feel as though it's a bit slow paced for me. L4D is very fast paced and is more of a multiplayer game than RE5. I would recommend L4D since I think it's a lot of fun and you can play with more people online.
Also, downloadable content for L4D is supposed to be released sometime in the spring, which includes the 2 other maps from campaign to be able to play on versus and a new Survival mode. This will definitely bring back players who have been playing L4D since it was released in November.
Check out this latest footage from Resident Evil 4 on the XBOX 360. Resident Evil 4 will be released on the XBOX Live Arcade soon, but until then ...
Fun? Good? Replay Value? Please be specific.
5 stars for the best answer! Thanks!
It depends:
Platinum I would buy if I did not have Pearl or Diamond already. Some cool changes though but not alot of changes. Get it if you dont have Pearl or Diamond. Resident Evil is for a good system and is a cool game but I would buy Naruto first. If your not a Naruto fan that much then go for Resident Evil. Even though Evil is the same old Zombie story, Naruto brings more as for changes from ninja 3. You can get bored quickly though.Platinum is inexpensive so I suggest getting platinum and another game. Does that help?
I have an Xbox 360 and I was wondering if the regular Resident Evil 4 for Xbox worked?
If you have an xbox live connected xbox 360 then yes, otherwise no.
Price: $39.99
Two playable characters in the standard campaigns, including new character Sheva Alomar, an African BSAA agent tasked with investigating the epidemic.
Gold Edition extras including all of the original content, two new episodes, four new costumes, an updated Mercenaries Mode and online RE5 versus mode.
New cooperatively-focused gameplay that revolutionizes the way that Resident Evil is played. Chris and Sheva must work together to survive new challenges and fight dangerous hordes of enemies.
I'm looking for a good single-player game. Which should i get?
Resident Evil 4 is an excellent game, there is so much more then you'd expect, and a VERY replayable game. After the first playthrough, there is still much more.. but I won't spoil it for you.
The orange box, well.. yeah great graphics but the fun factor isn't as high. I liked the original HL1 a lot, but after I played Hl2 episode 1.. not so much. Right when it finaly started getting good, it's over. I wouldn't say it sucked but, my expectations were shot down badly. No replay on that one.
Haven't yet tried HL2 episode 2 yet.. maybe thats better... I have refrained playing that to play RE4 , Bioshock, and also GOD2, which are all much better games.
I did try portal on that same orange box disc.. yeah nothing to brag about, I thought it sucked personally.
Anyways, it all depends on what your looking for. RE4 has both very nice graphics and excellent game play with definate replayability, Bioshock is my next favorite, very nice for 2 plays through, and God of War both 1 and 2 are very fun to play through a couple times. But HL2 episode 1, I was just dissapointed with the storyline, it is drug out too much, and kind of boring. They just focused on graphics too much and in turn failed on a great storyline that was in HL1. I hate to say it though.
I play on a PS2 and also PC if you were wondering, although I didn't say I disliked Xbox or Wii.. I just can't afford all of them! Wish I could.
To sum it up, RE4, Bioshock and GOW (1 and 2) are all much better games in my opinion.
Buy Cheap
Resident Evil 5 | Comics MYX - Comics, Video Games and Anime
Resident Evil 5 is the 7th installment of the series. It was released in Japan on March 5, 2009 and on March 13, 2009 in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
You can often gauge a games rise in the ranks when it jumps from one medium to the other. They made a movie or two (three actually, #3 is Resident Evil: Extinction) about this one didn’t they with big stars? Despite the movie kudos, gamers still prefer to stick with what they know and create their own fate with the video game series. Resident Evil 5 has been released for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. The PC version of the game is expected to be released in the second half of 2009.
