I just got my Xbox 360 and I wanted to know if I need to use the 360 Wireless Adapter because I already have a Linksys router which I use for my internet too and I don't want to waste $100. Oh and if you are a veteran 360 owner should I get the Microsoft points for the Xbox Live market?

The Microsoft wireless adapter costs about $100. Is there any different brand that I can buy that costs less, but will work the same? $100 seems very high to me.

I have the same problem right now... i cant believe i have to drop another $100 on a wireless adapter, after i just spent $399 on the xbox!!!

How to conected the XBOX 360 WIRELESS NETWORKING ADAPTER WIFI Microsoft?

I don't know who to play online what i have to do some video that explain how to get online how it works? Im not so good at this things thanks!!

Does your main router have a wireless connection? If so, then go to the XBox setup console and enter the necessary information for the wireless. If your wireless has encryption, then you'll have to enter the password. e.g.; WPA or WPA2 PSK, etc. You should be able to get this information directly from the router if you log into it with a PC.

If you run into problems, I've written an article that may help. http://www.ureadit.com/solutions/home-ne twork/79-xbox-live-compatible-router.htm l. Good luck!

Can I use a Linksys wireless card instead of a Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter to connect to XBox Live?

I have a Linksys Wireless Network Card and I want to use that to connect my XBox 360 to XBox Live. Do I need the Microsoft wireless adapter or some other hardware to be on XBox Live or is that Linksys card good enough?

I have a router installed and I want to use the Linksys network card to connect. It says 2.4 GHz and works on 802.11g with 54 Mbps.

I've tried to connect them but my Xbox 360 always says no network adapter when I test my connection. Please help me out by telling me how I can connect them or showing me a site that wil tell me.

Listen i've got the best answer, i bought a wonderful product for $28 dollars (including shipping) on ebay. It has to be the best thing i've bought in my 22years on this earth check this website at the bottom out or just goto ebay and type in Logitech Play Link Wireless Extension. Trust me you get this and you won't be sorry, it says compatible with xbox 360 on the side of my box. I've been using it since christmas with no problems!!! and very easy to hookup!
