Microsoft Xbox 360 Replacement

After they repair your 360 do they send you the same one or another?
If it's another will it be the same model
e.g. If I send a Falcon XBOX 360 Premium (with HDMi port) will I get another Falcon XBOX 360 Premium back (with HDMi Port) or is there a chance I may get an Arcade back or an Opus 360 or something?
It's the third hardware revision of the XBOX that is supposed to help prevent the red ring

More than likely they will send yours back to you. The only time they send you another is if yours is so messed up they can't fix it in a reasonable amount of time or if it will cost them too much to fix it. Then they will send you one just like you have. Or at least they should. If they send you another, call up customer service and demand they send you one like the one you bought.

I had a rechargeable battery for my xbox controller that wouldn't hold a charge for more than about 15 minutes. Instead of throwing it away ...

We have bought 3 brand new Xbox 360's, and all 3 have messed up. So we've had to deal with repairs quite often. The first 360 just locked up on the game Chromehounds alot, and it just got repaired. The others all got the ring and we got sent back a replacement. We haven't had to pay for any of the replacements.

Well, I just got a replacement Xbox last week, and right when I used it for the first time, it made loud noises, the screen jumped several times, and it's just slow and laggy all together...

The ID thing on it says it was made in 2006, so I don't know how long it's been sitting in the Microsoft place collecting dust waiting to get shipped somewhere.

Is there anyway that I could get a new (working) replacement without having to pay anything?

I just think this is bull crap. -_-

I've also heard that Microsoft is getting sued because they knowingly ship out faulty Xbox's. Surely, because of that, I could get something out of this.

I had the same problems good luck. My bf loves the 360 even with all the mess ups. You can imagine how mad i was when i purchased the elite and it had the 3 rings after 3 months. They are ***holes at microsoft. He has gone through i would say about 4 since they started making them.

The end of the jack on my 360 mic has snapped off inside the port on my control pad and i wanted to know if someone had dealt with getting a replacement from microsoft in the U.K. any links or advice would be appreciated, thanks.

When I say "everything", I mean does it come in a nice new Xbox 360 box, with the cords, a hard drive, etc., or just the same old packaging box with just a console in it?

If you send the console only youll get the console only.... thats how they do it.... but if they say theyll replace it you might get some cables and stuff but prolly ull get a refurb( the one theyr seling right now)
