Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Console Bundle

Hi I want to upgrade my "3yrs old Xbox 360/20GB" because, I wanted a bigger hardrive,HDMI port,different color,falcon chip & renew my 3yrs warranty. Just recently Microsoft they design a new Xbox 360 Elite console bundle, which is the (RED Xbox 360 Elite/Resident Evil 5 bundle) & it will be release in March 13, 09. I am a big fan of Resident Evil & I...speechless. My question is....WHICH ONE OF THE 2 should I buy??? Thank you & god bless you!

So, I've seen that bundle at 299$. My XBOX just got the RROD (it was a 2006 XBOX) so I thought, wow, it lasted a while and I do play my 8 hours a week, so I thought about buyin the elite, why not, a christmas gift for myself.

What I know is that Microsoft make bundles so they can sell the old consoles.
My question is, does the Elite with the Batman Lego and Pure, has the newest chip? or at least, is it a 2009 version?. I really wanna know, cuz I already own Batman Lego and I wouldn't buy an arcade cuz I got 20gb's and I really want a bigger hard drive. But I don't wanna buy it if its gonna be an old chip.

Yes, Xbox 360 Elite with the Batman Lego and Pure is the lastest 2009 version with new ship.

ANYWAY i wason best buy looking at the xbox360 elite game of the year bundle that includes halo 3 and fable ll and i read one of the review that says

"I was pretty pumped when I heard about this great new deal, and excited that i could get two awesome games. However after i analysed the packages I was utterly disapointed when i found these to be OLD XBOX ELITES in new packaging. AKA they DO NOT HAVE THE NEW JASPER CHIPS which have a much lower fail rate and chance of RROD. Microsoft is simply trying to sell out their remaining faulty inventory before switching fully to jasper. I was surprised to see A few XENON chips among the these when i first. ( made in like 2006-2007). Just be cautious that this is not the best microsoft has availble and what your buying is second rate.

If your willing of taking the risk that your console will break down in a year go ahead. The games were still a great choice but nonetheless I am going to have to pass this up until they put out a deal that carries jaspers.

That guy was probably a PS3 fanboy and wrote a bogus report. I bought it myself, the exact same bundle, and it works beautifully.

I'm buying an Xbox 360 for Christmas. I'm buying the Elite version, in a holiday package from Best Buy. I think that the Package comes with a Black, Wireless Controller and Black Headset, 2 games, the Elite console, a silver membership to Xbox Live and a 1 Month Subscription. Right? It comes with an ethernet cable so as long as u have a close by router, ur good. If not, then buy a longer one, they are cheap on amazon and ebay. And dont forget modern warfare 2!

So, Im going to buy an Xbox 360 , but which one sells the most I definitely don't want the Arcade Bundle, since it doesn't come with a HDD. So it's between the Pro or Elite Bundle. So I guess my question is. Is there a website where it tell you how many consoles have been sold between the Xbox 360 Arcade, Pro, and Elite? Also, which one do you have or would buy? Last, but not least can you provide Pro's and Con's.

pro's and con's? You do know that the internal of the systems are exactly the same right? Since you do not want the arcade that leaves the pro and elite. The only difference between them is the pro has a 60Gb HDD and the elite has the 120Gb HDD with HDMI cable if I remember correctly(I just checked the pro does NOT come with the HDMI cable). If you plan on downloading a lot of stuff or saving ALL your games to the HDD the get the elite other wise just get the Pro. I mean I have the original Xbox 360 from launch that came with a 10Gb HDD and since I dont save games to it I still have 8Gb left. I have all the DLC for my games also so its not like I am not downloading stuff either. Also I am not sure of any site that tells you each type bought I am faily sure it just says the total 360's sold because people also will go out and by the harddrive for the arcade since all you have to do is snap the HDD on to the system. Hell I would get the Pro and if you think you want a larger HDD later just buy the 120Gb drive and sell the 60....or keep it. Also when you buy a larger HDD MS will send you a transfer kit so you can put all your stuff on the larger drive.
