I'm trying to figure out whether it would be a good idea to get the Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter for Xbox 360 or to just get wires. But I need an approx. length of how far the wirless reaches.
if u r short on cash then go with wires if not get a wireless adapter
The title says it all for this review! Please check out my other videos! www.youtube.com
The Microsoft wireless adapter costs about $100. Is there any different brand that I can buy that costs less, but will work the same? $100 seems very high to me.
unfortunetaly i think you do....
I have the same problem right now... i cant believe i have to drop another $100 on a wireless adapter, after i just spent $399 on the xbox!!!
but it seems to be th eonly one that works.

I have a Linksys Wireless Network Card and I want to use that to connect my XBox 360 to XBox Live. Do I need the Microsoft wireless adapter or some other hardware to be on XBox Live or is that Linksys card good enough?
I have a router installed and I want to use the Linksys network card to connect. It says 2.4 GHz and works on 802.11g with 54 Mbps.
I've tried to connect them but my Xbox 360 always says no network adapter when I test my connection. Please help me out by telling me how I can connect them or showing me a site that wil tell me.
Listen i've got the best answer, i bought a wonderful product for $28 dollars (including shipping) on ebay. It has to be the best thing i've bought in my 22years on this earth check this website at the bottom out or just goto ebay and type in Logitech Play Link Wireless Extension. Trust me you get this and you won't be sorry, it says compatible with xbox 360 on the side of my box. I've been using it since christmas with no problems!!! and very easy to hookup!

Please let me know if it is an abbsoulute must to get a wireless router.
I want to play live with it.
if so how?
the modem is a speedstreem 4100
Yea you can, it's quite easy.
and does it offer the best connection for online gaming/gameplay.
It is speedy, but not the fastest ever connection because a wired connection can be faster. (If your internet is high enough.) Also, if your 360 is too far from your wireless router, your 360 might not get enough signal strength, and then your connection would be very crappy.
