Karaoke Xbox

I bought the Karaoke Revolution Party game for the original Xbox. It did not come with a microphone but said a microphone or headset is required. I cannot find the microphone anywhere except one on ebay for $40 and I think that's ridiculous since I paid $10 for the game and it's new sealed in the package.

Does anyone have this game and can you use the Xbox headset for it?

Yes you can use an xbox headset. its cheaper and it works.

I just got Karaoke Revolution for the Xbox 360 for Christmas. I really want to see what new songs there are available in the music store because I don't know that many that are originally on the game. I go to the main menu of the game and the music store option shows up gray and I can't select it. Can someone tell me how I can access this or if I need to get Xbox Live? Thanks in advance!

yes u need to connect to xbox live and some of the songs might cost Microsoft points

I have xbox karaoke revolution and I know that you can download more songs on xbox live but I only have dial up so can't unless there is another way but I CAN add songs to my music library so i was wondering if there is a way that I can add it like that.
and if not is there a way I can just download it like a mp3 download and just add it from my computer or something like that?

We have the wii and we love singing the karaoke songs but there is only so many that wii offers. I heard that xbox or ps3 u can download songs and use it for blue ray. We have a karaoke machine and its just not as much fun as the video games so we would rather get another video council to have more fun. Which would u buy to get the max out of karaoke?

Most of the newer platform games are going to be released in both consoles, so either one will do. The Xbox, however has many series like the Dance Dance Revolution Universe series that the PS3 doesn't have.

I would recommend getting the Xbox 360, just 'cause it has a slightly larger gaming library. It's been around slightly longer, that's why. You'd have to do your research on karaoke games, but I l know the 360 has games like Lips, Sing It, Karaoke Revolution: Presents American Idol. Check "amazon.com" to buy games they may not sell in Best Buy anymore. They also have a lot of the Dance Dance Revolutions and Guitar Hero.

The cost for Xbox Live (online network for Xbox 360) is $50/year. It is the largest online network, however. Otherwise, I know that most of these singing softwares are multiplatform (available for the Xbox 360 and PS3)

You can get the cheapest Xbox 360 for $200, but that's an Xbox 360 without a big hard drive. Make sure you're not gonna be downloading a lot of stuff, otherwise you might want to buy the Xbox 360 Elite, which has the 120 GB Hard drive.
