If I send in my 2006 xenon xbox will they give me a falcon or jasper xbox?

I am wondering because I am sending in my old non-hdmi xbox and am wondering if they will give me a new falcon chipset or jasper chipset xbox.


If you send in a console without HDMI, you'll get one back that also does have HDMI. It'll have what's called the Opus chipset, which is the same as the Falcon but without the HDMI port.

I recently just sent my Xbox in due to the RRoD and it only took them about a week and a half to send me an exchange Xbox. I'm afraid that this refurbished Xbox will get the RRoD again. I also just heard about the 2009 Jasper models that supposedly are less likely to get the RRoD and I was wondering if there was any way to tell if it's a Jasper model.

I heard from my friend that there will be a jasper chip in the 60gb Xbox 360 Pro, but he doesn't know if it is already in the new 360's. Does anyone know when the new Jaspers will be in stock? Also, does anyone know about the new heat chambers coming to the 360 aswell?


There is no heat chamber Microsoft isn't coming out with anything right now,
But right now is more of gimmy some ideas for the xbox kind of moment and the Jasper Chip is already out but are in the newest xbox's you can just go and buy it off a shelf

i sent my xbox 360 to be repaired 2 weeks ago and online it now says that i have a registered "exchange xbox 360" meaning they gave me another console. i want to know what are the chances of me recieving an xbox 360 jasper back? or is microsoft still sending out repaired falcon versions?


Knowing MS, you'll be lucky if it isn't actually on fire when you open up the package. I bought a new one about four months ago, based on what I read at that time about the exchanges, you really could end up with just about anything.

    According to Takashi, the motherboard will feature a 65 nanometre graphics chip from ATI technologies (reduced from 90nm), as well as smaller memory chips. The new motherboard, apparently, will begin to feature in new 360s from next August.

    This might not seem like a big deal at first glance, but the smaller graphics chip would put Microsoft in a position where it could potentially cut the price of its console again. In a nutshell, the 65nm process produces a better yield of chips with fewer having to be discarded due to deficiencies, bringing down production costs per chip.
