I just bought one, but i need to use it 20gb>60gb

is the one they give me gonna work or is it only workable 20gb>120gb?

I forgot to tell them i am using it for a 60gb, am i screwed?

You're likely to get a new one which works on all three. Sorry if I wasn't clear about your other question. Call them back if you can just to make sure.

I have had my console since launch and 5 weeks ago it died with the infamous ring of Death, to cut a long story quite short its back with the repair centre now for the 3rd time in 5 weeks with the same fault.

I was prommised a new machine last week and when i have phoned MicroSh1te today to see where we are at i got told that there is no way on earth i am going to get a new machine, i was spoken to like an idiot and had the phone put down on me.

What the h£ll is going on and they call that customer service???

Please i need some solid advice on what to do now, i have spoken to tradeing standards who told me to speak my credit card company and they too will take the case on board.

HELP, this isnt funny anymore, i just want a Working 360. 8-(
The 360 was bought Dec 2nd 2005.

Do you have this 'promise' in writing or is it just what someone told you carelessly over the phone? Check your warranty, what does it say about replacements? Since you are having no joy with the service centre monkeys, write a stern (not rude) letter to the senior manager of the department saying you arenm't happy and want to have results and timescales etc.

Do what trading standards say and contact your credit card company... you may be covered by them (if you did indeed made the purchase wirh your credit card, ofcourse)

I bought an Xbox 360 and it broke within 2 days. The problem is overheating. I understand that overheating is a huge problem with the Xbox 360.

But If I don't have my Xbox 360 back by the time I leave for school than I won't be able to use it until Christmas. I leave for school in less than 2 weeks. I know it is possible to get Microsoft to overnight you a new box I just don't know what to say to get them to do it. (I know it is possible because one of my friends did it)

should've waited to buy it, thats my advice. never buy a system as soon as it hits the market. dont be a follower of the masses, dont get it cuz you'll look cool. you got it too soon and now see what happened. =) good luck

My xbox has broken 2 times in the past year. It broke for the second time 2 months ago and they have tried to send me the box to ship it in 3 times already and it hasn't worked out all three times. I am in Canada, is there any way to complain to Microsoft or Xbox so I can get something for free? I don't want to call the usual line because then I will just be talking to some idiot in India who doesn't even know what an xbox is. Help!

Hi.. my xbox 360 broke down after 2 hours of halo 3 (Bummer I know) Its been gone for like a week and i was just wondering if there is anyway of tracking the progress of that repair through Microsoft, with the reference the customer service advisor gave me..?
without ringing customer services I mean also i live in the United Kingdom..
