I got the wii light sabers for my 6 year old son for Christmas. I was wondering which game is the best to use with them, Clone Wars or Unleashed?
I think you should get both, but if you can only get one, then i personally think you should get unleashed because its adventorouse and you can roam around the world just swinging it around, i think clone wars is a better fit for your son because, its like arcade so it will be alot more fun for your son and it'll be easier. Hope i helped
Just got it delivered. Cheap, tacky, but still awesome. :o) Check out a full review of this item right here: play-nintendo.com Thanks!
its my friends birthday in 4 days. he just bought a wii light saber cause he thought it was cool, but he doesnt have any games for it. i wanted to get a game for it.
I would get Star Wars: Force Unleashed or Star Wars: The Clone Wars. They both are great games.

can you play lego star wars wii and force unleashed with the light saber and is it funner to play with the light saber and are the light sabers as bad as they say they are?
what do you mean? the light saber attachment that attaches to the wiimote? those are pointless and dont help in anyway.

I have a few questions about Light Saber Wiimotes, specifically Thrustmaster Glow Sabers. How close are they to standard Wii remotes? Can they be used for any games (Some things I've read say they're specifically for sword games - which would make sense) and do they also have an insert for nunchuck controllers? (I think it there should obviously be one, but at least one source actually denied that. I find that hard to believe, but I feel I should ask anyway.) I've done my research, but I've found a bit too many conflicting details, and I thought I could find definite answers here. I'm a newcomer to the Wii, so I'm a bit too ignorant for my own liking at this point.
I bought the light saber attachments for the Wii remote and to put it the simplest...they suck. Save your money. They have a hard time getting through all of the plastic to make a connection to the receiver so they don't really move. The ones I bought also required batteries for the light sabers to actually light and they were total battery drains. When I got the kids the Wii for Christmas I thought I was being the cool mom by buying all the attachments (tennis rackets, steering wheels, ETC.) but they used them once and they get annoying fast. You don't need a big fancy attachment to play any of the Wii games.
we bought gran son wii console he wants star wars unleashed he thinks he can use light sabers with it He says the sabers are separate for 19.99 well I found them but I can't find out if you can use them with that game.
Yeah, you can use it. Its just a piece of plastic that holds the Wiimote. You can use it for a lot of games.

Adam is right. I think it's a different way for sony and gives them a chance to make breakthroughs, should they put the right poeple to work with the 'move' but still, it doesn't seem to original. On the feedback panel last week, while still in GDC, they were talking about how Socom 4 really isn't a good choice for putting it on the 'move', since it's been based on the controller since, what 2002? They should have made a new shooter game based solely on this new devise to give it a 'fresh' quality. RinceJester
I agree with all which you said. I fall into the more hardcore segment of gaming so I can only speak from that perspective. While I agree with it not effecting my enjoyment at least as it has been promoted, what worries me and maybe worries others is the possibility of those hardcore games such as SOCOM, dropping the controller support for only move support at some point in the future. Congrats to MS and Sony for (possibly) creating products which reach a broader audience, but I just hope they don't force it on the players which do not want it
