Are they worth buying?

And should i buy the current wii or wait for a new type of wii to come out?

Finnally, is there going to be a new wii? If so what will it be called and when will it be available?

I think that you should definatley get a Wii. They are soo much fun and are a great work out on some games. The wii is just like any other game system but better becuase you get to get some exercise from using it.

I do not believe there is a new wii coming out. And if there is, it will not be coming out any time soon.

So make a good decision and buy the Wii!

Okay I just bought a new wii remote because my first one got lost. But when I try to use it, it's doesn't even respond. I tried pushing 1 and 2 at the same time but the lights kept flicking on and off for a while on my wii remote. How can I get my wii remote to work?

you hvae to sync its first open up the lid on the button and theres a red button open up the lid on the wii should be near the power button open that up press it a cpl o times and it should work and for additional help with your wii just look at the wii guide if you havent already threw it away or lost it or something like that

I bought a sealed and with receipt Wii off of craigslist. It works great and I'm happy with the purchase. But how do I know if the Wii has the new and improved strap?

Just go to Nintendo's web site and search for the wrist strap recall. It will ask you to enter your Wii's serial number, and if it determines that you don't have the newest strap, it will ask you to enter some more info. If it has the newest strap, then it should tell you that you have the newest strap.

Basically, if you got the Wii after December 2006, then you have the newest straps.

It should have came with a separate piece that you open the top hatch on the Wii console and plug into the controller ports that wired gamecube controllers plug into.

Okay I have a Wii with a bunch of VC games on it. The system is acting up and I am planning on getting a new one. How can I move my VC contenet from old junk Wii to my new one?

Don't get the new one yet!

If it's acting up, call nintendo at 1-800-255-3700, and tell them what it's doing. If it's acting up really bad, ask them what they can do about transferring VC games to a new wii. They may just have you send yours in and they'll fix it, and you won't have to worry about it.

Nintendo has great customer service. Give that a shot before you just buy a new one.
