New Nintendo Wii Console

I plan on purchasing a new Wii console very soon but I am not familiar on what would be considered a cheap or reasonable price. Can anyone help?

New Wii's go for about $200. Nintendo did this in order to combat PS3's price drop. But it ultimately depends on where you get the Wii. Some online stores include a "sale price" but charge a lot for s&h. I'd get one from Best Buy with a warranty. It'll cost you some extra dough, but it may help in the long run.

I won a Nintendo WII console with 1 controller at work for a good performance. I decided to just sell it as I wouldn't have time to play it anyway. A couple of my co-workers would like to buy it and their asking price is between 100-110 pounds.

Is that just about right? Any idea as to how much I should sell it for?

Sell it for retail price (you'll have to check your area) or lower. A retail console would come with the console, one remote, one nunchuck, and Wii Sports. If it doesn't, reduce the price by the cost of the items missing.

I had a hard time finding Nintendo Wii in Canada although i live at canada i still can't find one. Can you tell me where to find a Brand New Nintendo Wii Console here in Canada?

Nintendo has experienced heavy demand for the Wii, far beyond their wildest dreams, I would think. It's possible that opportunists have been artificially creating a shortage by snapping them up and selling at a premium price, something that is typical for a "hot" product. Likewise, "regular" demands for Wii were very high also.

Nintendo announced in the last week or so that they were increasing production to accomodate demand.

My best advice is to get on a store waiting list and stick to it. Get on SOME list and stick to it. Remember the price won't go down (other than an occasional sale and sales are for games and accessories mainly) if the demand is strong. They will catch up in time and then the discounting will start...about the time the next one comes out!

I recently bought a Nintendo Wii for about $250, and it comes with Wii Sports. Try Wal-Mart or Best Buy.
