Battle Of The Bands Wii

i am buying battle of the bands for wii tomorrow and is it a good game i cant get rock band or gh3 because the price is to much and i seen an advert for battle of the bands and i think it looks cool it was 60 euro but know its 29 so is it good?

It's fun for a while but if you play more than 3 or 4 songs in a row your arm will hurt. The gameplay is too simplistic and the controls are not very tight.

Raving Rabidds 2 had better music mini-games than this (although there were only 5 songs in RR2).

Maybe it's worth waiting a month to get Samba De Amigo - it's awesome fun (I played it opn the Dreamcast years ago and I'm eager to play it again with the Wii controls!)

No. I don't have the game so I'm not 100% sure how it controls but it only uses the Wii remote and possibly the nunchuck controller. Even if you had Guitar Hero controller you wouldn't be able to use it with Battle of the Bands.

it says make sure my name is classy or any game modifiers are not turned on, and i have a wireless connection so why cant i play?

ur wii should be connected to the internet.
turn off all game modifiers
make sure ur band name isnt the same as someone elses

The battle would be easier if we could just download and practice the song. I heard that Nintendo might make a hard drive for Wii so that Rock Band will have DLC. If this happens I wish they would change GH so that we could download.

Probably not... that would take a reconfiguration of the code in the disc... not likely.
