Playstation 2 Mouse

Hi. I have a ps2 and some ps1 games that are compatible with a mouse. Is it possible to use a PS/2 mouse or USB mouse with it? If so, how?

You can use either a usb or ps/2 mouse/keyboard on the Playstation 2, although it is a little bit more difficult to use a ps/2. To use a ps/2 mouse or keyboard in a Playstation 2, you must have one a ps2 / USB adapter like the one below:

If you have a USB keyboard or mouse, just plug it into the USB slot on the Playstation 2.

can i use a normal usb mouse or keyboard with my playstation 2 by just plugging it into the usb slot?

and can you play games with it?

i already have the mouse and keyboard but i heard that you have to buy a convertor thingy for it to work so im just making sure..

Perhaps I buy a wireless mouse and buy a converter and then plug USB wire from the mouse receiver into the converter and plug the other side of the converter into my PC. Will my mouse work properly?

Some wireless mice have the adapter. However, you should buy a mouse that allows a PS/2 adapter

No. Although you can plug in your mouse and keyboard successfully, once you start the game, they will become disabled. The game can only be used with the sixaxis controller. However, where there is a will, there is a way. Two companies have recently begun selling sixaxis controllers that have been completely revamped into a mouse setting. Its basically a ps3 controller in which the joysticks have been wired to the mouse. It wont be as responsive as a pc gaming mouse, but if you dont like the sixaxis controller, then it is worth looking into.

i have putten my USB mouse on the Playstation 2 and it is not working , the mouse is flashing but it is not working on any game ex: black,Quake III,Serious Sam and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
please help i need to play these games !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is it a playstation 2 mouse cause if not the ps2 wont support any generic mouse
