I already unscrewed my Playstation 2. I need to download Swap Magic for free somehow and I need the steps on what to do. Can someone help me with these?

first of all modding a ps2 will not get new gh2 songs on it all modding a ps2 does is to defeat the chip lock on it so you can play japanese games on it second swap magic is nothing but a conversion cd that you put in the ps2 so you can play japanese games on it so it's nothing you can download of the net for free! you need to buy the swap disc in a store that sells import stuff!

You don't tell us if it's a slim or big PS2.

For the big PS2, just buy the Network Adapter and a Maxtor Harddisc.
Then you can move all your games to the harddisc with HD Advance.

This way, you have faster loading times and less waer on your Laser assembly.

If you have a slim PS2, search Google for "Modchip PS2".

All Chips come with detailed instructions on how to install them.

But you need to know how to solder. If you can't professionally solder, you *will* damage your PS2 beyond repair.

for my playstation 2 i have a online adapter and i can't really figure out how it works. my playstation is chipped could that have something to do with it?
