Playstation 2 Microphone

I purchased the Playstation 2 High School Musical Sing It for my daughter's birthday but my girl got a Wii for Christmas. Should I take the Playstation HSM Sing It back and get it for a Wii. She already has 2 microphones for Playstation 2. Do you know if i can use the playstation 2 mic's on the wii.....

If the mic hooks up on USB 2.0 Ports, then possibly...

Unboxing of the singstar microphones

When I hook it up to my PC, it finds it, recognizes it, and installs it, but it doesn't seem to produce any sound through my speakers.
I am able to record sound with the sound recorder (thanks!-good suggestion), but how can I get the sound to come through my speakers?

umm, yha if your computer is finding and installing it than more than likely it will work, but when you talk its not going to come through your speakers because one you plug it into the usb it becomes the new defalt, try lisining to some music and see if you can hear it through the headseat speakers, and if you want to know if the mic works just go to < start - all programs - accessories - Entertainment - Sound Recoreder > and try to recored something that way if it will play sound back to you than its working, idk if thats what you where asking and if that ansers your question but GL

How do i turn on the rock band microphone for the playstation 2? I have plugged it into the USB port. There is not an on switch or way to turn it on. Thank you

i just had this problem last night. try plugging the microphone into the hub port thing and then plug that into the usb port on the PS2. take a dualshock 2 controller(the ones that are used to play normal games) into the controller port. it worked for me, hope it does for you

You probably want a headset right? Any USB headset will work but gamestop or staples would have the cheapest one..the ps2 official headset would be cheapest but any standard usb mic would work.
