Frequency PS2

Where can I buy the games Frequency & Amplitude ( Made By Harmonix) and for how much? I need this before Christmas.. quick answers much appreciated.

Try finding it at a gamestop or a eb games. Anywhere you can buy used games. They are only sold used now since the ps2 is out dated. I believe it will cost you no more than 15 dollars since they aren't very known games.

if i bought a good gaming receiver for my ps2 would i have a good connection for wireless gaming.

I would assume the PS2 is using a wireless adapter (maybe a wireless bridge) to connect. The router is capable of 54 Mb/s over the wireless in optimal conditions but you will have to keep in mind that is a shared medium (much like a hub) and you might see 30-40% of that throughput if there is contention for the wireless network. That might bring you down to 15Mb/s or so - 10 times faster than many broadband connections so it has plenty of speed.

I want to buy one of them from gamestop.com, but i want to know which is the better game.

I owned Amplitude wayyy back in 2003. But i lost it when i moved so i kinda forget what the game was like. But i heard Frequency is better??

Which should i pick up?

I played Frequency and it was ok, I was never into those games where you had to press the buttons in a sequence to get a good score.

I lost my frequency reciever from my ps2 wireless controller and wanted to know if I could use a different reciever for my controller or does it have to be the one that came with it when I bought it ??

only if it has a switch to match the frequency of the two units, if not you must buy the appropriate frequency to match.
