I've been looknig for a good RTS game for the PS2, Gamecube or even the Wii that's like Empire Earth or Age Of Empires, but I can't seem to find any. I know that AOE is on PS2, but not AOE 3. There don't really sem to be many good Medieval Age games out there, or it could just be me. Anybody got any suggestions?

i have age of empires gold edition on pc but cant play it anymore, im buying age of empires 2 on playstation 2 and was wondering if it is simular to the pc age of empires or even better?????

I have AOE (Age Of Empires) on my playstation console. However, playing the game with the controller is extremely difficult. Hence, i juz wanna know whether a normal USB mouse can be connected and be used on the playstation console.
Yes it works. So does a standard USB keyboard. I have noticed however that it likes "plain-jane" type USB devices rather than feature loaded ones. So if you have just a plain ol mouse with 2 buttons you will probably find that it works better than one with a back button, forward buttton, and a scroll wheel.

oooo ya sorry about your luck but if your ps2 is a USA versoin it should only Play USA PS2 games unless you buy a special disk that i dont know where to get but it would brob. cost $30 right now if you find one

In this series of reviews I will look at some ‘older’ titles and show you what’s good, bad and again what is considered ugly. I will cover a wide range of games from the ever popular Age of Empires Series to the less so ‘popular’ Star Trek series. Like with other reviews showing an in depth experience of each game and what it offers for players.
Age of empires which was released back in 1997 by Ensemble studios, it brought us a redefined game type which was popular among the masses. With its Real time strategy based game play or RTS for short, it offered a simple but effective type of game style and structure which has been maintained up to this date with Age of Empires III and multiple expansion packs. Typically of games in this style it is a 2D world rich with detail. The game looks like another of this type and is the foundation for many games which preceded it. Each unit has a unique look and is not hard to distinguish from the enemies. The game is made up of 2D and 3D graphics, which complement each other as the buildings and the user interface seem to fit together seamlessly. The buildings and units are represented as best as they can be in such an early graphical age of gaming.
