The Last Remnant PS3

I'm leaning towards PS3 because playstation's track record with square-enix and rpgs in general. Has anyone heard of any differences between the two or is it basically down to just picking which one I want?

Both versions of Last Remnant are basically the same, so it all comes down to which system do you want to play it on. so i'm saying go with PS3 since Sony has always been RPG's system. but lately Microsft has been getting the the RPG's. but go with Sony

I know that it has been released on Xbox 360 but its bugging me well bad for when it coming out on ps3?

Totally looks fun to me. I have a ps3 and i am sick of shooters. I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on with the ps3 version. Thanks ahead of time.

So far I have heard it's an amazing game so I've decided I want to get it for sure yet I heard the frame rate on 360 so far is bad. This isn't a deal breaker, but I might as well take advantage of owning a Ps3 too. So if I wait for the Ps3 version is it likely the frame rate will be better why wouldn't it be and what is the difference between the two?

Neither. The game is one of the most horrifying frustrating pieces of garbage I've played.

I picked it up the other day and returned it the following evening.

As you said it heavily suffers from slowdown at points, but the battle system itself is a pain. You have no control over what battle commands are given to you. It almost seems random. I've been hit with status ailments then never given the command to heal them (despite having it). You can fight enemies with elemental weakness but never get presented with an attack of that element form the characters that have it.

Also you can save anywhere and have to. Even in the very first dungeon are "rare" monsters (but they show up constantly); that are capable of wiping our your entire party because you aren't nearly enough level to fight them.

I highly suggest you pass on it. I took it back and got Valkyria Chronicles which is an amazing strategy RPG for the PS3.
