for example me and my freind want to play a doubles match against random people online while we are playing on 1 system, 1 tv, and each with our own controller?

i'm sure you can. I just beat that game with AA or better on all the levels. The only problem I had online was I could never find any other players.

i hav already got virtua tennis 3 and far cry 2 so i dont know which one is better to purchase they are both 29$

I would not recommend F.E.A.R. for the PS3 as it is known to be inferior to the PC & Xbox 360 versions. I am not talking minor differences (that actually wouldn't be such a bad thing ), I am telling you that the PS3 version is glitchy - bad frame rate which translates to lag & you know how that works for FPS -it doesn't work. If you can get the Xbox 360 version which is better and cost the same (new) or the PC version do so. But don't take my word for an answer check out the reviews at 1up.com (part of EGM), and gamespot.com
Now about Sega Superstar Tennis.....I have that game, it came bundle with my Arcade model 360 (The PS3 version is identical to the Xbox 360 version except for the achievements of course.). At first I didn't even want to play the game (tennis is not my sport), it was still sealed, the only reason I opened the case up was because 5 Arcade games where also bundle in the same case. After I played Arcade disc I decided to try the Sega Superstar Tennis disc and guess what? I liked it. Its fun. Arcade fun. With that said know what you're getting into, though - I believe- it is made by the same studio as Virtua Tennis its another game completely. This is obviously not a sim type game. It is comparable to Mario Tennis for the Gamecube. Just a fun game to play with friends and or family. You can also play it online. It has tons of unlockables.

I'm pretty sure that they are, i smack the ball at a pretty un-returnable position and then the ball either suddenly stops mid flight of slows down to almost a halt. Is this cheating? And if they are, WHAT IS THE POINT?! What satisfaction do you get out of cheating your way to a win? Destroys the whole online experience.
