Spiderman PS3

i have to buy an power supply and it says that ut came from a 40gb SPIDERMAN VERSION of the PS3, will it work on mine? mine is a different version, the normal one, plz help?

You can use any power cord for the PS3. With the PS3, you don't replace the power brick, you just replace the power cable. The voltage converter or whatever it's called is inside the PS3, unlike the 360 and Wii, where the power brick is on the outside.

The arrow keeps pointing to a rooftop and when I go up there, there is no challenge marker on the roof. Normally you have to be within 1-2 strides of the marker to do the challenge but I do not see a marker, and the lowest I can get is 3. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I had the same trouble but I figured it out, go to the side of the building where there is a fire escape is, neer the road, then climb to the top window, it is open and the challenge marker is inside the building

I have a ps2 and really want this game. However, I want to know how the ps2 version compares to the new gen versions. I dont want to miss anything important, so should I wait to get a Ps3 to get this game? I understand that the graphics arnt as good on Ps2, but im not worried about that. Gameplay wise, does the PS2 spiderman 3 live up as best as it can to the others?

Its not just the graphics, I just rented it for PS2 and I like it, especially since its not 100% word for word from the movie. The problem I had with Spiderman 2 the game is that it was the exact story from the movie; I played and beat it a few days before the movie came out so it kinda ruined the movie for me.

-Anyways about the game IGN actually gives the lowest rating to the PS2 one. Xbox 360 - 6.0, PS3 - 6.0, Wii - 5.7, PS2 - 3.5, DS - 8.1 (out of 10)

-Two different companies made the game so its different for different consoles

-PS3 XBOX 360 is made by Treyarch
-Wii, PS2, PSP, and DS is made by Vicarious Visions

-wearing the symbiote suit and regular suit is scripted until you beat the game then you can switch
-Also while playing as the black suit different moves are unlocked.
-PS3 you can play as the New Goblin.

Wii, PS2, PSP
-2 bonus villains: Morbius and Shriek
-You can transform into the black suit at will, which increases your health, strength, speed, and combos. But you cant stay in this form forever or else you will passout.

Dont quote me on this but I think on PS3 and XBox360 you can go into the sewers and subway freely while on PS2 you can only do it when the story relates to it.

Anyways I cant really compare it to PS3 since I havent played it but being able to play as the New Goblin seems cool and the gameplay itself is different. However I like transforming into symbiote spidey wheneva im getting my butt kicked on PS2 so its your call.

I personally wouldnt buy the game because 1. Im cheap 2.I do not like buying single player games due to the lack of replay value. I have the game cuz i get a free rental at blockbuster once a month.
