Socom PS3

I just bought the new Socom Confrontation game for ps3. it comes with a playstation brand bluetooth headset. I've connected it many times, turned both the headset and ps3 on and off countless times, and it stil does not appear to be connected (because it indicates if it is in the "lobby" section).

I connected it to my cell phone and it worked just fine.
Please assist.

use the cable that comes with it to plug in directly to the mic. There is a little flap on the back. Once you plug it in it should automatically pair. No searching necessary.

I am wanting to buy the socom game but I havnt got the money yet, I was wondering if it will always come with the official ps headset?

No. You have the option of buying the game with or without the headset.

It's 40 bucks without the headset, and 60 bucks with the headset.

Warhawk came with a headset, so Sony isn't going to force people to spend extra money to get another headset.

On SOCOM Confrontation 4 PS3, does the online playing mode have radar to see enemy? i wouldn't think it will be as good as socom 2 if it does?

There's been some guesses about it, but nothing has been spelled out. Rumors were started by some of the pics released of the gameplay show a radar scope with red dots.

Socom has never shown enemies on the radar scope and it's doubtful they'll actually do it. Hopefully they won't.

I used to have a PS2, I was a big fan of socom 1 and 2, the online game play and maps were brilliant! certainly got my moneys worth! am i likely to get the same experiance on the new ps3 versions online? clans etc? or are those days over, you people know what i mean!

First it wasn't made by Zipper...a different studio made the PS3 SOCOM...second, it's AWFUL...still don't let it discourage you from getting a PS3 as there are a number of other great exclusive shooters such as Killzone 2, Resistence 2 and Uncharted 2
