Silent Hill Homecoming PS3

I just want to say that i'm not conspiring to start conflict, i'm just generally new to having both systems. It is also my understanding that certain games perform better on certain consoles, and this is where my question is coming from. That being said, I'm looking for someone to answer that knows more about this than I. Thanks in advance!

I'm on my first playthrough of the PS3 version of Silent Hill Homecoming and have reached the final boss battle but the only "choice points" I've encountered are where you either choose to do a mercy killing on Alex's mother or not and where you either choose to give a first aid kit to Wheeler or not. Did I miss something?

I would like to know if the game is worth getting? It seems to have been panned by a lot of critics. Is this simply because the game is different to previous silent hill titles? I've never really played any other SH games, I totally love games like Resident Evil 4/5 and I'm up for a "bashing things with metal poles in dimly lit rooms" scarefest.... Basically, those of you who own the game - a) is it worth getting; and b) is there any particular reason the reviews were less than great? Thanks all.

It seems every time they release a new Silent Hill, the critics give it a worse and worse review. I think it's just because it'll never be as good as the original? I dunno. >_< I <3333'd the original, and have played every one leading up to this one, and found all of them great games. (((Yes even Origins.)) Although I played this one on Xbox360, it boils down to Homecoming, in my opinion , still being an awesome game. The story was pretty good, the new combat system was very nice and easy to get used to. I never really felt myself bored at all, or having to force myself through it. But the real question is? Should you buy it. I probably wouldn't buy this game, seein as how I sat down and beat it in about 2 sittings....no real replay value, So..you should probably just rent it if possible, or get it off a friend like I did. =D

Hi I'm on "Head Back Home" level & I'm back to Alex home. l'm on the top floor & in the small room that I need to solve this slide puzzle & I have to match it. I have very hard time of solving this crap puzzle & I want to know if anybody could help me on how to solve this puzzle. Thanks everyone!

P.S. I'm not sure is it this game or thats how was develope but, the graphics they look like PS2 graphics & is like I'm playing it on 480i.

The puzzle must be reset back at default position in order for the steps to work. If it's not, you can exit through the backyard to reload the cemetery area and go back in the house to reset it.

1) Move the top-right double piece one space left.

2) Move the second piece in the third row one space down.

3) Move the third piece in the third row one space to the left.

4) Move the double piece on the far-right in the center one space up.

5) Move the bottom-right double piece one space up.

6) Move the second piece in the fourth row two spaces to the right.

7) Move the first piece in the fourth row two spaces to the right.

8) Move the second piece in the third row one space down.

9) Move the second double piece in the third row to the left.

10) Move the center double piece on the left side one space down.

11) Move the first piece in the first row one space down.

12) Move the double piece on the top far-right one space down.
