Me unboxing Rock Band 2 for PS3 Special Edition as I promised

i have a wii and i wanna get rock band but im afraid da graphics are gonna be realy bad. so should i still get it or should i get it for the ps3 and get a ps3?

get it for the wii if you have a wii, graphics are alot better on PS3 off course, so if ya like graphics, go for it on the 360, if ya plan on watching blue ray movies and have the cash for it, get a PS3, contrary to what some other poster said, there are quite a few really good games out on that system, sure not as much as 360 now, but still, they have very good games to play. now if your just looking for an excuse to go and get a PS3, dude just do it, i have mine and love it.

Trying to find Rock Band 2 Special Edition Bundle for PS2 for a gift and can not find it anywhere. If I buy Rock Band 2 Special Edition Bundle for PS3 will it work on a PS2. I am sure the game probably wouldn't work, but would the PS3 instruments work if I purchased the individual Rock Band 2 PS2 game to use on the PS2?

the instrument controllers are the same except the guitar controllers don't come with the cables required for ps2 play ( the mic does )
I'm not sure about the wireless drums either )
I see ps2 sets at wal-mart and gamestop all of the time so just look around or order one in and you should easily get one
you're right about the game itself not working unless it's a playstation 2 version
you can also buy the first rock band special edition set for ps2 and the second game because the only change to the controllers was the ps3 had wireless drums on rock band 2

Does Rock Band 2 Special edition come with any instruments?
Would I be better off buying Rock band 2 [just the cd] and then separately purchasing two guitars and a microphone/drums?
I'm surprised nobody has an answer. Guess I'll wait until it is released in stores.

I say buy the special edition pack.I wouldn't buy the ION drums separately cuz they cost too much.and if you bought all of the instruments separately it wood cost more than the special edition.

Its pretty much the same price everywhere, $189.99.
the things that come in the box are a guitar, drum set, and microphone, also if u buy it for the wii, it comes with a usb port so u can connect 4 instruments at the same time, but if u don't get it for the wii u can buy a usb port, for around 10 bucks at wal-mart.
