I have Rock band 2 for the PS3 and I only have the drums. I lost my USB Dongle receiver which connects the drum set to the ps3 by plugging a wireless piece into the ps3 and pressing a button. I may be getting the rest of the band, does a usb dongle receiver come with the guitar and mic? If so, does it work for the drum set also?

To put it shortly, not likely. To put it in the long manner, the buttons coordinated to the different presses in the two games are different, and don't work together, for the guitars, but there is an alleged patch to make this work together. The mic should work, after all, its just a mic, but the drum will not work at all. They are two completely different set ups and are entirely incompatible.

Fantastic game! Got it on PC on day 1 and beat it in about 25 hours. Didn't do much side stuff and hated myself for it. Recently got it for 20 on ebay so I gave it another go.
