No. It won't accept vista but it has wireless internet so you can still play some online flash games.

PS3 is expensive because it is also a Blu-Ray player. A stand alone Blu-Ray player is already between $300-$500. PS3 is a good bargain considering this factor. Plus it also serves as internet broswer to check emails and stuff. And you can store MP3 files, photos and videos in its built in HD ranging from 40GB to 80GB.

I use my samsung instinct cell phone as a modem to connect my laptop to the internet but I don't know how to use this feature to connect my ps3 to the internet. Is there a way to connect a laptop running vista to a ps3 to use the laptops internet connection to connect online with the ps3?

I have recently purchased a PS3 and I am having trouble connecting to the internet. My braodband uses netgear security and requires the PS3 to be recognised to allow it access. I have tried several times and I can't seem to get my PS3 connected.

Goto network connection, select enable

Goto Internet connection settings just below internet connection-

Push yes when it says you may be disconnected

Select wired or wireless

For wireless use scan or enter manually

Follow on screen instructions.

Once that is set up return to main menu and go to network near the right

Im having trouble with sharing my media with my ps3 with my computer. Is the ps3 even compatible with windows vista like the xbox 360 is. Because the xbox 360 can detect a windows media player library from windows vista so can ps3 do the same?

did you enable sharing in media player 11? personally i prefer to stream with the tversity media server

I have set up my hometheater pc as a media server for the playstation 3 and have many tv shows on that server. When I watch on the PS3 it will play one episode, then at the end of that episode it will just stop instead of continuing on to the next episode (file). Is there a kind-of "play all" feature for the PS3 when watching from a media server? Thanks be to all.

nope there's no way to do that because each file exists on it's own. you can't do that even with videos on the ps3 if you think about it.
