PS3 Flight Simulator

I'm new to playstation and my husband bought me a ps3. I have been playing pokemon and super mario bro. with my nintendo ds lite. What ps3 games should i choose? And is there a ps3 game for kids?

Warhawk is a good flying game. Thats the only one i know of.
You can use you Sixaxis controller and tilt it to fly the plane, though this game lacks a single player mode. you can run around a level by yourself if you dont play online. or dont want your kids to play online

and like another person said, there arent many games for kids that arent sports games. maybe some, but the games for kids that arent sports games are usually very cheaply made. try Ratchet & Clank as a good kids game. its not juvenile but it is not cheaply made either. good entertainment

The ps3 will play most ps2 games. you can find those in large quantaties for a very cheap price at places like gamestop. im sure there are numerous games for kids on ps2 that arent too violent at all.

and also - games for you: Metal Gear Solid 4. Battlefield: Bad Company (war and humor put together). Call of Duty 4. There aren't too many amazing games out that dont involve shooting. :\

I know that you can put another OS (usually Linux based) onto the ps3...but is it possible to install MFS2004 onto this new OS? And if so...how well does it run?

No of course not. It's a completely different format. There's a reason that it's a PC game...because it's for PC.
