I play my playstation 3 online alot and i want to know if the 50 dollar official ps3 headset is worth it.um if u have a headset and u like it alot please tell me what its called.

i use the bluetooth that was for my phone. it works for ps3. if your saving money then you don't need a $50 headset, you can get a cheaper one for 20 bucks.

turn on your ps3
turn it on after it's charged a bit to sync it

I have the modern warfare 2 headset for ps3. People tell i should i get official ps3 headset becuase its better. My modern warfare 2 headset for ps3 that is bluetooth is working fine but i honestly dont know what is the diffrence between the of them except the official ps3 one has a mute button. Should i buy another which is the official ps3 headset or should i not buy da official ps3 headset and stay with my modern warfare 2 headset.

It depends, if you are happy with the one you have, if it has good clear sound and other players can hear you clearly, then just stick with the one you have.

But, if you are not happy with the one you've got, then the Sony one is very good, it's the one that I have, and I'v'e found it to be very good quality and although I've had it since it was released, it's still as good as new.

If you do buy the Sony one, remember to pair it useing it's usb cable plugged directly into the top of the headset, this way it will work in the highest quality, don't use the PS3 "Discovery Mode" as it is only meant for non-Sony headsets:)
