Oblivion Game Of The Year PS3

I just swaspped a copy of the original oblivion for the ps3, for a copy of the game of the year edition, and was told the saves will be picked up. This doesn't happen, am I doing anyrthing wrong?
I have 80 hours of saves that I want to use, I have checked the hard drive and they are still there. When I go into the game the saves do not appear when I go to "load." Please help!

sorry to say there is no way to pick up saves from the original thats why i downloaded shivering isles seperate

In the oblivion game of the year Edition Strategy book, in the back it tells about all the extra stuff u can get if you get the plug ins. I have the PS3 One and i was wondering if you can get the plug ins. If you can then how?
(and are plugins and Downloadable Content the same thing? If not then can you get Downloadable content for the Ps3 version?)

No. PS3 users can not get extra plug-ins or any kind of additional content other then Shivering Isles or Knights of the Nine. Xbox 360 and PC users can, however.
It sucks, I know, but that's how it is. I myself would love an armored horse. ):

that's the version i have too. it comes with shivering isles and knights of the nine. don't worry its already incorporated into the disc so you don't have to download anything. ;)

on the official oblivion website they have lots of plugins like the thieves den and wizards tower for the pc and xbox360, i was wondering if the ps3 version comes with that. if not can you buy it on ps3 online?

it comes with all plugins but fighters stronghold...it does not have shivering isles on it.... shivering isles is an expansion pack not a plugin, xbox 360 is coming out with a $30 disc that has shivering isles on it, don't know if PS3 will....

i have no clue what is the best armor in the game and would like to know. if you could describe where i can find it or just the name of the armor i will award you 10 points if i like what i find.

I honestly can't think of any armor that can be found or purchased that really stacks up to armor you enchant yourself. Cuirass of the Saviors Hide is alright but it looks really stupid, you can get it from the daedric quest from Hircine's Shrine which can be found south east of the Imperial City. There's also some decent random loot pieces at high levels but they're random loot so all I can suggest is get up in the levels and keep running Oblivion gates.
