I play nhl 08 on my ps3 almost every day and the old rosters bore me i want to know how i can get up to date rosters. please help anyway possible.

if you have internet connections, just go to MY ONLINE NHL 08 and you can download new rosters. They have not updated a new roster since the trade deadline, they will do that i assume sometime soon. But you just have to go to that menu in the online features.
Hopefully they will have a deadline update sometime very soon.

I just got nhl 08 and on the back of the box it says headset compatible. I played online and stuff but nothing used my bluetooth headest (Blackberry). I just got my ps3 for xmas, so im still new to it.
The headset allows you to talk "trash" during online game play provided your opponent also has a headset and has it activate to talk.

In NHL 08 for PS3 can two players on one PS3 play online in quick team play mode??? or does it have to be with friends??
Why would you want to play the game online if you can play each other offline?
Hey there, im thinking of purchasing a PS3. All my friends have Xbox live and they tell me that when playing online, their rosters for sports games get updated to be current.
I was just wondering, to save a little scratch.. if I were to purchase NHL 08 (PS3) and play the ps3 online, and choose to update the rosters.....will my rosters be up to date with this seasons rosters ( 08-09 season) even though it is last seasons game??
so like mike cammaleri will be on calgary, and steve stamkos will be on Tampa Bay ect. ect. ect.??

EA makes more money on mobile games than PSP and PS3
EA isn't what it was in the past... making a crap of good franshise games ( NFS just to name one) and making just small add ons in each year in the sports games and making crap port in the PS3 thats for sure. Making not only a bad boxing game but they don't add more boxers and in the ps3 again, another crap port. I really want a good boxing game not made it by EA. This year is the year of activision.
Your just as Capcom, making $hitty ports left and right for the PS3, hopefully DMC4 won't be in the mix of ports.
The only game i actually considered good from EA this year is NHL 08 its really awesome, still would have liked some more things but meh.
