Need For Speed PS3

When i put nfs shift its says new software/update found for this game has been found then it say iit takes 2559 mins! so i leave it and it comes up sayin error? why is this please help also if i say i dont want to install the software/update it just goes back to the ps3 home Please help 10 POINTS FOR THE ANSWERS THAT HELPS ME!

The game server may be down or busy. If that's the case, all you can do is try again at another time.

The only way around this right now is to not sign into the PSN when you run the game (you can't play online, obviously, just single player).

I started a need career in need for speed carbon thinking i could still play my old file but i cant, but it is still saved on my ps3 hard drive. Can someone help me to get my need for speed carbon file playable?

Go to career press load and see if u can get ur old game back. If u deleted ur old file then its gone forever.

I have the game need for speed pro street for PS3, and my career data always gets corrupted, this has happened three times already, can anyone help me please!!!! Tell something about why this happens.

Usually it is because the saving gets interrupted. However, do you surf the net with your PS3? You could have gotten a virus in the HDD. Otherwise, the best that I could recommend is reformatting the HDD. If you do, do the long version, it wil take ike 3 hours, but it might fix it.

is there a need for speed underground for ps3, or a very similar one?

NFS underground is an old game OK.(release date: Nov 2003)
The makers of this game have done this before the PS3 came out.
This game is only available for PC, PS2, PSP, XBOX, GC, and GBA.

Try other NFS games for PS3 like NFS ProStreet, NFS Carbon, NFS Carbon and the newest NFS that will come out this September 2009, NFS Shift.
