if i were you id definitely pre-order the bundle pack. If you pre-order it you can get the bundle pack on June 12.....if you didn't you have to wait until June 13 like all the other games.
Nothing hurts about pre-ordering....its actually good because it gives the market economy a good estimate on how many packages they should purchase.
Like i said, pre-order to avoid disappointment. There is no extra cost for pre-ordering, just extra happiness.

I just got back from Gamestop (about 10 minutes ago), the PS3 80gb is also coming out on June 12, and comes with Metal Gear Solid 4. Its gonna cost $499, a hundred dollars more than the 40gb, but the game is about $80, so you'd be doing good. I will be there the morning of June 12 myself to pick one up.
All stores that sell PS3s will have it. The MGS4 bundle is replacing the Motorstorm bundle, so they will be everywhere on June 12th.
