My PS3 controller (not a Dualshock 3; just a regular SIXAXIS) is connected to the PC by a program called "Mr. T's Controller Connector" (I got it off Youtube)
It works great whenever I play Project 64, but I can't get it to work with Borderlands. I checked my Vista Hardware Panel and under controllers, it verified the PS3 controller works properly!
How can I use it in Borderlands?
im using a xbox 360 controller for pc with mine so theres no reason why it shouldnt work if your windows is picking it up as a controller. look in the game settings under controller - maybe its just not compatible with the game. you can get the xbox one though.

Fresh Off the Bus is the name of the first Level. You get to a point where the robot is supposed to call out to a doctor in a locked house at the end of the first section. Whenever i reach that point, the robot just sits there and nothing happens. Any ideas?
This is a very common glitch that's happened to a lot of people, including me. Unfortunately the only answer is to restart the game and be sure to stick close to the robot. as long as you do that it should work for you.

is the game play different on ps3 compared to x-box 360 because borderlands got a lower rating on ps3 and i want to get it for ps3
They are exactly the same and you can never trust review scores because they are all written by people. And as you know people can be fanboys, so maybe the reviewer gave the ps3 version a lower score just because it was ps3.
I mean look at britney spears, she sold millions of albums, been allover the new and millions of people love her music. I personally think she cant sing and her music sucks, despite the millions who love her. Same thing when it comes to reviews, its just one persons opinions.
The one and only difference between the two games is that the ps3 version will obviously have free online unlike 360 you have to buy xbox live to get online.

I enjoyed certain small aspects of Borderlands, but overall I thought the game was too flawed. The game needed a stronger narrative - half the time I was just going trough the motions, not remembering why I was doing a quest and consequently not having an interest in anything I did. It was way too easy, too. I never kept or bought any weapons because they always seemed to be weaker than what I was using. The ending was anti-climactic, and Claptrap was way too intrusive, obnoxious, and repetitive (I actually edited the game's code so I never had to hear his voice). I have zero interest in any sequels to Borderlands and I don't understand the hype. There are so many RPGs/FPSs out there that are better made and more enjoyable. Hell, there are a huge number of games other than RPGs/FPSs out there that are better than Borderlands, and those games will never get any sequels. Stop having such weak standards, everyone, you're crapping up the industry.
