there are only 2 memory card ports to plug in the mics therefore only 2 people can sing at one time however in 2 mic party mode you can create 4 teams of 2 meaning that 8 players can take turns to sing
Karaoke Revolution Party aka Karaoke Stage 2 in Europe for the Sony PlayStation Two (also on original XBox and Nintendo Gamecube) Will sing some ...
Anyone know if they sell them and where?
gamestop, used section. BTW great choice for a singing game ^^ i <3 karaoke rev, tho i sound and look like and idiot playing it
if so do i need a special Mic or somthing?
Well, the discs work for wii, and there are ports to plug in controllers for gamecube controllers.
If there are microphones that hooked up manually to the gamecube just like other controllers, you don't need anything special.
plugs into one of the memory card slots

For use with Mario Party 6, Mario Party 7, Karaoke Revolution Party and Odama.
Should I purchase Karaoke Revolution Party (with a microphone) for my Gamecube at $39?
Is it worth it?
Thanks
I have Karaoke Revolution for PS2... it's an ok game, but nothing spectacular. You could probably find it for a better price, though. $39 for a GameCube game is a little high, even with the mic. I bought mine without, for $9.99 used, and picked up a $15 usb headset/mic on eBay that I can use with other games as well.
I will get it for my sister, but I don't know what songs there are on it!!!
I can't really remember what songs are on it, but I DO remember that they were awesome. We used to play for hours and hours every week. The songs range from oldies to really new ones as well so there's something for everyone. There's also R&B, pop, rock, and soul, so lots and lots of diversity. Hope that helps.

Karaoke Gets Personal: Handheld Devices Turn Up The Volume
While the subject of karaoke elicits a roll of the eyes for many people, there’s no doubt that karaoke has had a huge cultural impact, first in Japan and then around the world. For a myriad of reasons, people enjoy singing and performing, and there’s no device that’s more successfully leveled the playing field for public performances than the karaoke machine.
Traditional karaoke machines incorporate a microphone, a recording of the instrumental tracks of a song, an audio output device, and a video screen that displays the lyrics of a song. Singers (or those who consider themselves to be singers) use the microphone to sing along to the music while following the lyrics on a video screen. Karaoke singing gained popularity in Japan in the 1980s and then spread throughout the world in the 1990s. Typically, people would gather in bars or clubs for “Karaoke Night,” although some clubs featured karaoke every night of the week.
